Earl's Spirit

The Physical This week was good overall. I worked out 5 days out of the week including a two mile run walk on Saturday. Who hoo! My calves continue to hurt, but I've been doing some research and have a plan to combat the issue. My achillies tendon makes itself known from time to time as well, but I am a man so I deal. Speaking of man, shout out to Amanda's beau, Nate, for coming and running with us. It was refreshing not to be the only dude!
The Nutritional This aspect of my regiment still needs work but I am making progress. I only ate after 8 once and I only drank 56 ounces of soda for the week. Unfortunately, as I write this status I have two cans of soda in my lunch pail and I am going to drink them :( The MoneyOn the financial front, I purchased a watch, some socks, and some shoes. My shoes will be in on friday, so on saturday I should be run/walking like the wind!!!!! Shwwwwwww (sound of the wind). I also bought a bike for some cross training action and as soon as I get another, more comfortable seat, the one I have is not booty friendly, I will be bicycling for the cause. Travelocity has plane tickets to Las Vegas for $114 round trip.
The Spirit By the by, it's been 4 weeks and I am still at a 10 out of 10 on the "Excited About the Marathon" o'meter. And my Motivation factor is solidly entrenched at 8 out of 10, running's hard!
