5/17 No Pancakes Today

We have finally begun to build a routine and start some norms, namely the BEING ON TIME norm. We are a group of teachers and we tend to run on our own time so we've established that start time is at 7:30AM but if there are only 2 or 3 people there then we will wait until there are 5 people unless they've called MacKnitty to let us know they are coming.

Our group is feeling good and excited about going to Vegas. Yuma Mama is hoping to persuade her hubby to come to Vegas with the new baby. I say do it! My baby also needs some company. Plus you want to celebrate afterwards and what better place than Vegas?

The big news this week is Chicka's hubby, Earl joining in on our long run. He pushed his middle son in the bike cart/stroller.

Rascal and Chika's first born took the ambitious task of running and biking the full loop.

Yuma Mama and MacKnitty both completed a run/walk pace.

The group was in training mode this week and it was good time for all.

Discussion hovered around summer running and a possible earlier start time due to summer weather. Earl was having no part of it saying, "We'll cross that bridge when we get there."

IHOP is on the menu in 2 weeks for a post-run meal.
